First period after mc

Mine is very very light.

Anyone else's?

Mine was very heavy - but it did start off light for one or two days.

mine have been v different after each of my mc's. there really is no such thing as normal. how long ago did you mc and at what stage?

Mine was very light to start with then got very heavy for a few days and then continued spotting for ages.

I got quite with af for staying so long but I suppose I should just be grateful that she arrived 4 weeks after the mc. I bled for 3 weeks after the ERPC then had a week off before AF arrived so I really don't know where all the blood came from. Ok rant over

I was told it would probably be heavier than normal as typically it would be 6-8 weeks after mc so lining would be thicker by that time. How long ago did you mc?

Thanks everyone - I know nothing is normal or abnormal at this point, guess I'm just looking for other experiences.

lissie I mc'd four weeks ago this past Friday at 11 weeks, fetus measured 7.

eli & alicia I had a natural miscarriage and bled for about 10 days, then it went away and I had a few days of spotting. Then that went away for a few days and then came back for a bit . And now AF started 30 days after I first started bleeding. I was wondering where all the blood came from too - in a way right now I'm not really surprised my period is so light.

I started today, mc 6 weeks ago. Mine is lighter than usually although I've been feeling like period has been coming for last 2 weeks so glad its here now.

Obviously I'm on day 1 so can't say much but usually I am very very heavy when I first come on and only bleeding slightly.

mine is due at the end of the month and its only been 2 weeks since my mc so i am expecting a hum dinger or a right good clear out.
Want to have 2 good periods before we try again.
cant remember what my periods were like after the last 2 mc's i had.

im looking forward to it in a strange way because i can cross thaat off as number one, one more to go..i know, im an odd ball!

Mine came yesterday - exactly a month since I mc. And it's so heavy!

I'm partly relieved it's here and partly v upset. Not sure why.

Ah, I spoke too soon! My temp plunged this morning and the bleeding all arrived in earnest. Guess what came before was really just spotting. Anyway, it's pretty heavy and clotty. Just went to the toilet and was surprised to see a 2pound coin sized clot come out. but strangely I feel better that it's relatively heavy rather than light. Now we'll see how long it lasts.
