Missed Miscarriage

Hi I’m wondering if anyone has any success stories on having a baby after having a missed miscarriage? I was told at the weekend my baby had no heartbeat at 8 weeks and I had to have medication to pass my baby! Heartbreaking time :( I would just love to hear some positive stories please 🙏

Hi, I didn’t want to read and run and unfortunately I can’t offer any advice on pregnancies after a missed miscarriage. I had a missed miscarriage in May at 11 weeks and I am currently 6 weeks with a pregnancy of unknown location that is either ectopic or about to miscarry.

However, the odds are in your favour for your next pregnancy and lots of people have gone on to have healthy pregnancies afterwards unfortunately I just haven’t been that lucky.

Hi, I'm sorry op and hope you're ok.
I had one mmc at 8 weeks and I was pregnant again 5 months later which felt like such a long time when in reality it isn't! It took a while to get a normal cycle though. But be kind to yourself as every month can be such a rollercoaster.
I then had a baby girl and when she stopped bf I had one cycle then was pregnant again with my baby boy.
It's so very hard and not to minimise it any way but to reassure you - it's quite common and usually doesn't mean you'll have any fertility struggles in the future.

My mmc was so long ago. I conceived 5 months after and my DD is now 23! DS 19. I remember the worry and stress.

Sorry you are going through this. I had a MMC in February this year at 10.5 weeks. I started TTC again straight away and got my BFP I'm April. I am now 17 weeks. The two months between felt like an eternity but I know now I was lucky

I had an MMC in the Autumn, then 5 months to conceiving again and next one was Chemical but that’s just my story so far. You have excellent chances going forwards.
