HCG Levels

Hi all, last week I went for bloods after I had been bleeding/clotting and had a potential miscarriage.

Tests have come back to show levels of just 136 at around 5 weeks. I know this is very low and they have suggested it may have been a miscarriage but with retained product.

Has anyone experienced this? 🤍

Hi Rebecca I hope you are okay and feeling okay! I was wondering what the outcome was? I had a positive over 2 weeks ago now and experienced bleeding with clots which started Friday. I was referred to Epu and they did a scan there. They said they could see some blood in my endometrium and thought I was miscarrying but needed bloods to confirm. Strangely the hcg is increasing but very low. It was 120 on 3/8 then 124 5/8 then 147 7/8. Is this what happened with you?

Hello, I'm really sorry you're going through this too. My scan also confirmed they saw blood, and that I had miscarried. My bloods increased in HCG but after the 4th lot they went from 120 to 41. I need to have more on Monday as the EPU want ti rule out an ectopic with the rise. I hope you're okay 💖

Hoping you get the best outcome on Monday (the best of a bad situation anyway). How much did your bloods increase by before they started to go down? Thank you! They increased by around 30. The pregnancy tests I was doing too were the cheap bendy ones and they were getting stronger and stronger so I had some hope that I was still pregnant but unfortunately not. I hope you go on okay today!❤️

Hi ladies, hope it's ok to join.

I tested positive Sunday/ Monday on home tests. The clinic called me in for a blood test and said my result was good at 288 but they wanted to do another today to ensure it's doubling. It's now dropped to 251. The clinic have asked me to come back for another blood test on Friday. They have it's most likely a nonviable pregnancy.

The numbers don't seem like a big drop... is there any chance this can reverse?
