Hi everyone, first time here 👋🏼

Hoping this is the right section!

So I had a missed miscarriage in May found out at 12 week scan that we had sadly lost the baby at 11 weeks. I had the surgery and my period returned as normal (28 day cycle).

I am now 5 + 3 days pregnant again and feeling so grateful but I can’t stop worrying and convincing myself that we will lose this baby too.

Hoping you have some positive stories to share if anyone has been in a similar situation? Or if anyone has any tips to keep the anxiety at bay! Or anything you did differently that you think helped!

thanks in advance!

I feel for you!

My first pregnancy became a missed miscarriage and while I had more bad luck, I ended up with 2 boys, now men.

It's really the luck of the draw. All you can do is make sure that you take proper care of yourself and be positive. Stress, ironically, is bad for pregnancy so tell yourself that this little one will be in your arms before you know it. (And you'll know all about it.)

Congratulations on getting pregnant again. And remember that happy mamma, happy bubba.

@TeaGinandFags thanks so much for replying.

Did you get any medication to help like additional progesterone?

They mentioned this as a possible option when I had the MMC but I didn’t know if it was a good idea or not as we don’t know why it happened.

I'm pregnant after a MMC in February and I'm so worried too but I keep reminding myself that there's nothing I can do to change the outcome. From everything I've read, progesterone only helps if you're spotting. I didn't spot with mine, it was literally just the shock of my life finding out at the 12wk scan with all my symptoms in tow.

@jellyfish2 congratulations on your pregnancy.

ahhh thank you for the info on the progesterone. I didn’t have any bleeding either and still had my morning sickness etc so was a massive shock too.
