Hi I’m new on here just looking for some advice. I’m currently 9dpt first fresh ivf. I got a positive test but the lines aren’t any darker. I’ve had 2 natural pregnancy’s 1 miscarriage 1 blighted ovum so think this could be a chemical

When are each of those tests from? The top one looks faintest. Is it the oldest?

Em153 · 15/07/2024 15:12

Yeah sorry they are in order top is the oldest

It's certainly got darker since the first test. This is the trouble with monitoring line progression - it does tend to cause a lot of stress as it often doesn't follow the pattern you're expecting. I think you'd be best waiting for a few days before testing again to allow it to properly establish and hopefully see clear line progression. I also know I personally wouldn't be able to wait 😅 I'm trying to conceive (9DPO, not ivf) at the moment and have done 6 tests over the past couple of days as I'm so impatient!

Good luck, I really hope it works out for you.

I think the lines have got darker.
Good luck!

Thank you both. I really hope so I tried not to test but had strong symptoms my blood result is this Thursday so will update this thread with the outcome. I’ve miscarried twice since December both were very different the 2nd I had no idea till I went to the hospital and there was nothing inside the sac but lines were still dark and strong symptoms all the way through the first I lost around 6 weeks so the worry is always there. I don’t seem to have any symptoms now they have disappeared so fearing the worst

Just an update if anyone comes across this thread. It’s ended in a chemical pregnancy

So sorry to read this :( I had a chemical with my first round of IVF and remember how horrible it was. Best of luck for if you go again ❤️
