Hcg not dropping - miscarriage

Hi ladies, wanted to reach out to see if anyone has any thoughts or been through similar.. had bloods and scan done due to pain and spotting at 5+2 - pregnancy of unknown location although did say due to my pcos that dates could be out so they took bloods too - my hcg rose after 2 days but did not double. Had bloods done 7 days later and hcg levels have stayed the same and not dropped. Have been bleeding and passed a couple of small clots but no sign of bleeding stopping. Have had cramps and lower back pain on/off last week but nothing signalling an ectopic. EPU are taking more bloods Monday as dont know why they havent declined. Nurse advised this may be retained tissue not passing but I'm just concerned my hcg hasnt dropped at all yet have been bleeding for over a week.

so sorry for your loss💔 its the worst thing to go through. With my second MC, I bled for 16 days first then stopped for 9 days & started bleeding again for further 12. My HCG was still high & positive pg tests up until around 4 weeks after where they were dropping & the lines got fainter. Sometimes just takes longer but maybe keep tracking with strip tests & check that the lines getting lighter until they are completely gone & negative. All the best💕

@Pinkieblue24 thank you so much for your reply and I am so sorry for your losses❤️ sadly I went in for a scan Tuesday and it was confirmed an ectopic pregnacy. I had internal bleeding and emergency surgery that day - they found my right tube was partially ruptured so removed💔
