Hello lovelies!
Sorry to find you on this section of mumsnet
I just wondered if anyone is currently or has been in my position and how long it lasted or what intervention was done?
I had a mmc back in May 11 weeks measuring 6, opted to see what happens naturally as I had a previous bad experience with a dnc. I miscarried at home on 13th May, since then I've never had a negative test. Initially the tests were faint but clearly positive. Had a scan and confirmed small amount of RPOC about 4 weeks ago. Continued testing weekly as advised and the lines are now incredibly dark instant positives.
Last Tuesday they gave me medical management to try and move it along but nothing happened apart from feeling sick.
I've called and waiting for a call back but it just feels like I'm stuck.

It's been 8 weeks since the initial miscarriage and I just don't know what happening or why my body is doing this.

Have you had this experience? What worked in the end for you?

Thank you, sorry its a long old read. Will keep updating for anyone who might be in this sad boat in the future
X (attached pregnancy test from today)

I’m so sorry you’re in this situation, I know it all too well. First miscarriage took almost 4 months to resolve, tried medical management, assumed it had worked but continued to get + tests, they finally took bloods and was told all good, period should be here soon. Couple of weeks later what I thought was period was actually just bleeding so they scanned me, consultant said lots still in me either RPOC or polyps, probable infection, so was booked in for surgery. Finally got my period back 8 weeks after surgery. I’m now in a similar position after another miscarriage, potential RPOC or polyp, but this time it’s moved a bit faster as I’ve pushed for scans throughout, they always initially decline but then I flag how long it took last time, I’m due surgery next week.
My advice is push for another scan to see what’s going on and if there’s still RPOC consider surgery. Medical management just seems to fail people quite often sadly.
Keep going, I know how drained you must feel but I promise it will eventually be sorted. All the best xx
