Hi everyone,
I’m booked to have my cervical screening/ Pap smear tomorrow after having a miscarriage in April. They said to wait 3 months but my question is, 3 months after what? My miscarriage started on 7th April but the placenta didn’t come out until 9th April (medically managed).
The GP said to wait 13 weeks after the bleeding stopped. Is this really necessary or can I have it 13 weeks after the placenta came out?
I want to have the smear as soon as possible because we’re ttc again and I don’t want to have the smear in the two week wait.
