MC June 2023 and March 2024.

Positive ovulation test on 28/05/2024, (did not test either side of this day, positive pregnancy test on 10/06/2024 (did not test prior but started to feel unwell about 8dpo)

Had HCG blood test when I thought I was 6 weeks and results were 19,459 and sickness started. Woke up this Saturday (10 days anfter blood test) and sickness had subsided, scan this Saturday (3 days ago) supposed to be 7 weeks 3 days but measuring 5+4. Told sonographer I have already had 2 miscarriages and am scared as my Simpson have subsided today, Sonographer did the scan and said “I’m afraid it might be a missed miscarriage” appt made at EPU for 7 days ahead to confirm.

She didn’t even ask me if I was sure when I had conceived or suggest that my dates were out.

All symptoms came back the day after the scan and are still here.

Think I might have ovulated later and implanted later than I had thought.

Both my previous miscarriages I lost symptoms straight away but all my symptoms are still here..feel sick, feel sick if my tummy is empty, vomiting, high HR, breathless and stuffy nose. I still feel 100% pregnant.

Something is not adding up, can’t help but feel sonographer was just being too cautious, she has also just been qualified for 3 years and the images did not look the best quality
.
There was a fetal pole (which she did not measure) and yolk sack present + 31mm gestational sac, but no heart beat yet.

although some of her measurements contradicted each other.

I hope she was wrong. Anyone have any comforting words 😭

The baby is so tiny at this stage it is incredibly easy to miscalculate and get things wrong.
you may have ovulated later, at 5+4 you’re not going to see a heartbeat unfortunately. It’s more when your hitting the actual 7 week mark you’ll see it.

theres so many people on MN who have measured behind just like you then got to the 12 week scan and actually been 14 weeks.

because like I said previously it’s so easy to get stuff wrong at this stage.

essentially the baby is as small as a grain of rice.

dont worry too much, just wait until your next scan and see what happens from there, but I’m sending you lots of love and hopefully everything is good with the baby x
