4 early miscarriages, do I need to consider progesterone?

Hello, I've had 4 early miscarriages between 4-6 weeks over the past year. No live children.
Blood tests like clotting, thyroid etc seem normal. I had my day 21 progesterone test around the same time I got pregnant (got BFP the following day which ended in miscarriage a few weeks later). The result was 41 and I ovulated around CD 11/12 so unusually early that month. Anyway obviously that's a good result but I'm wondering is it possible progesterone could still be behind my issues? Could I start with really high progesterone that just ends up falling resulting in miscarriage? Most pregnancies last about a week and then I bleed, one pregnancy lasted about 3 weeks from BFP.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. Have you asked to be referred to a recurrent miscarriage clinic? They will do lots of blood tests to check for all the most common issues, as well as scans to check your lining and shape of your uterus. Xx

Hello thanks for your message. Yes I am on the waiting list, in the mean time my GP has done several blood tests

@User06556 that's good - my GP did the same, but there was a heap on her list that were "locked" and could only be ordered by a specialist so I hope you get seen soon. That clinic should be able to help/advise on progesterone too. Xx

so sorry for your losses I had 3 consecutive miscarriages then before I started trying again I started taking low dose asprin once a day 75mg. I’m now 10 weeks pregnant with two scans showing heartbeat and perfect growth. I can’t say for sure the aspirin helped but I personally think it did. I will continue taking until 16 weeks I think
