Trisomy 15, whether to try again

Hello. I have a healthy son then had 2 miscarriages, another healthy son and have now had 2 miscarriages trying to have baby number 3.

our last miscarriage was tested and results came back showing trisomy 15. We have been referred for karyotype testing incase there is a genetic cause.

the problem is we have to wait at least a month to have bloods done and then 5 weeks for results thereafter. Does anyone have any experience with this situation? I am hoping we have just had really bad luck considering we have 2 healthy boys. I am tempted to try again without waiting on results but this might not be the right thing to do either 🙈

thank you in advance 😊

Hello @Mulberrygal just wondering how you got on, we are in a similar situation, 2 daughter and then 3 miscarriages. Did you get the tests in the end?

Yes we had our chromosomes tested and ours are both normal so this hasn’t been the cause of our miscarriages and they think it has just been bad luck. We are hoping to have another baby and hopefully not have to go through a loss again
