6 week bleeding

[DTM21]

Hello All,
I’m desperate to know my status. Was supposed to be 6 weeks today. Felt cramps all day and now finally passing these clots (3 of these) sorry TMI. And still cramping a lot. Could I be miscarrying or there is hope?
desperate for advice from mums who’ve gone through something early in the pregnancy.

Hi OP I’m sorry there’s no way of knowing but that does look like a lot to have passed. Call your EPU. X

It does sound like it could be a miscarriage unfortunately:(. Unless the bleeding slows down. You could call the EPU for advice. ?

Thank you ladies, I forgot to mention that I am travelling and not back in the UK until end of the month.
will try to get some antenatal care. 😢
theres no persistent bleeding but lots of cramping.

Just passed more of this. Still no bleeding. Anybody who knows what is happening.

Nobody here can tell you what is happening OP, only a doctor can. It does look from what has passed that it may be a miscarriage but there will also be some people who had similar and went on to have healthy pregnancies.

I think you need to assume it's an early miscarriage.

I’m sorry, sadly no one will be able to confirm for you. Any chance wherever you’re travelling that you could book a private scan?

when my mc’s started, I had persistent cramps (light at the most weren’t too painful) and no bleeding and then had a scan to show that I was definitely miscarrying and my body was just starting the process.
sorry OP I think this is the start of the process. Try and get a private scan x

Just had bloods done today. No scan until Monday 😢
HCG is alright for week 6 (5200) but nurse said it could take time for it to drop so this isn’t a very valid marker at the moment. Repeat bloods in 2 days! Bleeding has stopped entirely, but the amount of clots I’ve passed id be very silly to think this is going well. Last one looked like chicken liver sorry TMI and just blobbed out.
can’t wait for the scan on Monday the wait is killing me.
sorry to hear you’ve been in the same situation it is so difficult to deal with more mentally ofc @LER2023 do you mind me asking l, how long did it take you to bleed? Or was it just passing the blood clots for you?

so I have something similar not any pain but Tuesday night brown shooting Thursday night blood when wiped then Friday morning woke Up went to toilet 3 blobs came out couldn’t see them as toilet was dark red, period pain for around an hour and then nothing since but stringy blood when wee like period with no pain and maybe enough blood to fill a pad per day? I’m 6 weeks, can’t have scan till
tuesday, im So scared and just terrified of pain and heavy bleeding

I’m okay physically, no pain! Thanks for asking @Starrynight999 Just this hanging in mid air feeling isn’t great ofc. I will only know tomorrow morning after scan and will keep you all posted.
your situation sounds very similar, that’s exactly how my bleeding has been, very little only when I wipe. But I’ve passed A LOT of clots and some were huge for how far along I am. but never had a miscarriage before so don’t really know what to expect. Had two healthy pregnancies and babies 7 and 3 now!

ok! So keep me posted, i know the feeling, wake up early morning thinking is it today? I know how horrible that sounds, but I just want it over now.. it’s mentally so exhausting
I also have had 2 healthy pregnancies and this will be my first miscarriage also. Might just a light period now since I passed them 3 blobs, although not sure wether it makes a difference, normally when you feel a clot on a period it feels stringy like in a way like the way it feels when it comes out these 3 didn’t, they felt different, but def not in enough pain or bleeding to have passed it, just don’t understand!

I’m ready for the worst but I want it all to be over this overthinking is killing me. Constantly reading horror stories of continuing an eventful pregnancy that ends in a miscarriage at a much later stage and what not.

hello ladies,
It’s no good news for me. TVS confirmed miscarriage, with retained products. Have been given medication and a repeat scan to make sure it’s all out.

it took me about 3 days to bleed properly with clots.
