Periods after loss

Hiii would appreciate some advice!

Had an early loss last month, was due on this weekend but start of the week began spotting what I think is old blood as it's mainly brown, with a little fresher red, but hasn't developed into proper period. The start of the spotting was CD29 and since I have had my periods have never had anything shorter than a 31 day cycle, so although only few days early, still out of the ordinary for me.

Would you count this as a period? Has this happened to anyone else?

I am just presuming it was due to the loss, have never had one before so nothing to compare to.

Thanks xx

Sorry for your loss, but yes, your busy will be getting back to a pre pregnancy state, so may take a couple of months to get your periods back to normal.

after my second mc, my periods began starting every 2 weeks, fell pregnant again and had my 3rd mc and now my periods are back to every month rather than every 2 weeks. Pregnancy definitely changes your periods! If you have any further worries I’d definitely speak to a GP about it but they will probably just say it’s because of your pregnancy.

but I would take that as a mini period sort of thing, it could be that your period is longer this month and you start bleeding properly in a couple of days, but if not just take that as your menstrual cycle X
