Back to back miscarriage

So I'm pretty sure I'm going through a second miscarriage. My first miscarriage happened at the start of April and then I conceived again without a period. I've also conceived both times using artificial insemination however both points appear to make medical staff completely bewildered.

14th Feb - LMP
8th March - Positive pregnancy test
2nd April - bleeding started
4th April - pregnancy passed naturally at 7+1
8th April - miscarriage confirmed at EPU

20th April - positive ovulation test and negative pregnancy test
20th and 21st April - insemination

1st May - positive pregnancy test (10DPO)
26th May - spotting started
28th May - spotting turned to bleeding
30th May - private scan measures sac at 5w with no heartbeat however by my dates I believe I was 7+4

I called EPU this morning and they told me my dates are wrong and I'm probably only around 5 weeks. I know I've not had a period since Feb due to back to back pregnancies however my cycles were 28/29 day regular with no issues so if I ovulated on 21st April, then I was working off as if I had a period on 7th April, therefore making me 7+4 yesterday. Am I wrong?

I know it's easy for people to misdate their pregnancy etc but we do not have sex to conceive (we are both female) so feel like it's a bit more obvious. And also measuring 5w when the maths puts me at 7.5w is also not a good sign.

Hi @CadoAvo im sorry you are going through this. I had my second consecutive miscarriage last month. Been told this week it was a partial molar.
With the last pregnancy I did have a period in between that and the first, but my cycles were so messed up from the MC I couldn’t date it properly. I worked it out by when I got a positive test & counted back & at an early scan it seemed I had worked it out correctly. So if you are sure on your dates then it does unfortunately sound like it is a potential MC.

I know how awful it feels. Are EPU going to scan you at any point?

@Figtree11 hi thanks for the response and sorry for your losses too. I'm definitely having a miscarriage, passed lots of tissue last night and been bleeding heavily although not heavily enough to be concerned or go to a&e. After what passed last night, and comparing it to my last miscarriage, I know what's happening. EPU said they will phone me on Monday to book me in for a scan in 2 weeks although I hope they will now bring me in earlier when I tell them I've passed the pregnancy. It's sad but is what it is I guess.

I’m sorry @CadoAvo it is really unfair that this can happen to us twice x
