Weird periods after miscarriage

Hi all. Wondering if this has happened with anyone else.

i miscarried at the end of March, period returned at the end of April, it was very light, but otherwise normal.

I got my next period on Friday - however the blood is even lighter and totally brown. It’s exactly the same as the implantation bleeding I had before the miscarriage, but testing negative on a pregnancy test.

my cycle is on the shorter side, so I’m still now on 13dpo, so I guess it could be possible I’m pregnant, but seems odd.

love to hear anyone’s thoughts.

I'm also having weird periods - if it even is that. My miscarriage was completed on 1 April and my period came five weeks later, and was quite normal. However on day 11 of the current cycle I had another little bleed, followed by some brown spotting (similar to the implantation bleed I had) and now today I've had a small gush of blood. I've spoken to the EPU who said to do a pregnancy test in a week and call them back if I'm still having spotting but I know for sure I'm not pregnant (plus I'm away next week).

I think I'm just going to see how it goes, obviously seek medical attention if it gets very heavy or painful, and hopefully it will resolve itself over the next few weeks.
