So waiting for my referral to the recurrent miscarriage clinic, but I've read a lot about aspirin and debating trying it in the meantime as we're continuing trying whilst waiting for the referral.

People that take it is it a daily 75mg dose?

@Eatsleepbakerepeat so sorry you are experiencing this. It’s an awful place to be.

I was told to take 75mg and then increase to 150mg at 12 weeks.

Hope that helps and lots of luck x

It's hard I have a DS who we conceived quickly with no issues so this is all very unknown to me it's hard

When do you start taking it?

I took aspirin when pregnant with now DD after 3 losses, 2 of which were MMC (recurring mc clinic appointment was cancelled due to covid). I also had a previous DS with no issues. I'll never know for sure if it was the aspirin but everything went absolutely textbook with that pregnancy. I took 150 mg aspirin every night from the positive test until nearly 38 weeks. I basically followed the advice that a friend of mine was given by doctors for her pregnancy following multiple losses. I spoke to a consultant over the phone when I was a few months pregnant and he said I could have also requested progesterone from my GP to take up to 12 weeks so that might be worth looking into also.

@Eatsleepbakerepeat i get that, I have two who were conceived no problem and it’s all went downhill with no explanation.

I had some conflicting advice on this so can’t say what is right to do.
It was to take 75mg when trying ( I did from 3dpo) and then increase to 150mg when pregnant. However when I went in for an early scan, they said I should be on 75mg from 6 weeks and increase to 150mg at 12 weeks.

Do you mind me asking, did it work and help you carry to term?

This was my first attempt using it but unfortunately i’ve miscarried again. I don’t want to say it didn’t make any difference as I don’t know the reason behind my miscarriages but I’ve read lots on here where it has worked.
