MMC cycle change

Hi, I had a MMC back in October and after going back and forth to the EPAU due to left over tissue I got my period back a a couple of months later - any bleeding before this was due to the miscarriage and not period. But since then my cycle has been getting longer and longer (used to be bang on every 4 weeks and my most recent is 5 weeks 3 days) and my bleeding is lighter and I don’t get as many cramps. Has anyone had anything similar? It’s been over 7 months now so I’m just very surprised that I’m not back to ‘normal’ and it makes it harder for TTC. Thanks!

Hi op, my cycles were very messed up after my MC. I had a 6 wk cycle at one point, but still managed to get pregnant. It just made it difficult to pin point when to try.
That unfortunately ended in another MC, so back on the waiting game of waiting for a period.

Unfortunately I think it’s common for cycles to be affected quite a lot

Hi! I came on to look for others who are having a similar experience... I am finding my cycle length is longer and I am still bleeding on day 11 (albeit not too heavily). Before, I would bleed for two days fairly heavily, then lighter for a day or two more. It was very predictable and the same every month.

Do we know why this happens? I find myself searching for specifics because most of the information online or from the NHS just says that's the way it can be with no explanation...

Hi all - similar experience for me and it's 15 months post surgery. My periods were so regular before and now they're all over the place. The cramps on day 1 of bleeding are so much worse than I experienced before. I'm honestly not sure it'll go back to normal at this point!
