Pregnancy 6 weeks after miscarriage

I had a MMC mid-end of March had final scan to confirm miscarriage on 2nd April which showed an empty womb. At the time they told me to take a test 3 weeks later to confirm all was clear but I put this off until this week as I didn't feel ready to do it. So I do the test this Monday and it's positive! Rang epu they did bloods Tuesday which came back as hcg 195 and had repeated ones today that came back 524 so they said it looks like a new pregnancy! Not sure how to feel it's only been 6 weeks since MC so hard to process! Has anyone else got pregnant this soon after a MC and all been okay?

I don't have a positive story to tell you (yet) but I'm in a similar position. Miscarried at 7 weeks, this was confirmed at EPU on 8th April. It was complete so did not need any further intervention. I did test out the pregnancy though and got a negative test on the same weekend I had positive ovulation tests. (I was desperate to get back to it!) I got a positive on a digital pregnancy test yesterday (and luckily I know it's a new pregnancy as I did a digital on Tuesday and it was negative). I'll be 4 weeks on Sunday from my calculation and haven't had a period since Feb, before my first pregnancy.

As soon as I miscarried I spent hours online trying to figure out if it was okay to try again without waiting for a period, I did read quite a few success stories 😊

Congrats to you! It's an exciting and nerve wracking time.

Thanks for replying and congratulations to you as well!
Yeah it's a proper mix of emotions! I have got a scan at the EPU in 2 weeks so will have some idea then of where we are dates wise but I think I must be about 3/4 weeks.
We said we wouldn't try properly but just not use anything and see how it goes but was never expecting it happen this fast Grin

My experience is years ago now but thought I would share it. Had my second miscarriage (missed miscarriage) and had the surgical procedure whose name escapes me now! We waited one month before trying again, and I got pregnant (at nearly 40!) the first month we tried. The 'outcome' is now 20!

Yes, same with me after a miscarriage at 7 weeks. I got pregnant straight away with no period inbetween. She is 4 now x

Thanks. So reassuring to hear some positive stories in what seems like such an uncertain time 😊😊
