7 weeks light bleeding, no pain

Hi Ladies! Looking for advice and hopefully some positive stories!
I’m 7 weeks pregnant and for the last 2 days I’ve had some spotting/bleeding. Nothing much is being left behind on the pad just a few drops but when I wipe there’s some fluid which has ranged from pink to light brown with occasional streaks of red…
I’ve had no cramps or pain but my stomach does feel a bit weird and off.
Spoke on the phone to a midwife and they said they’re not concerned and that without heavy bleeding they wouldn’t have me in to see me and to just see how things go and to let them know if it turns heavy🤷🏼‍♀️
This will be my 2nd baby and never had anything like this with my 1st, seen online that bleeding can be common in the first trimester but is this the start of a loss or is it possible things will be ok??? 🤞🏻

I’m the exact same boat I’m 5 weeks 4 days according to a private scan even tho my period 12/02 so should be around 7 weeks but my cycles have been extremely long recently. For the past few days I’ve had pink/ brown discharge when wiping no red at all. My private scan was fine I have a gestational sac but nothing in it yet :( so worried this is my 3rd baby I’ve had losses before most of them started with period bleeding never discharge and they say brown is old blood and pink isn’t anything to worry about but you can’t help but worry x

@Mommabear96 @Jenroxy5
Sorry to hear how worried you are. I had a MMC in November that started with brown spotting but I’m pregnant again now & last weekend I had pink & brown spotting and instantly thought the worst. I went to the EPU and they couldn’t find any reason for the bleeding & found a baby with a heartbeat and the bleeding has now stopped.

It’s so hard, but try & think positive. And if you can get seen at the EPU I’d try & push for it @Jenroxy5 if you have had losses before as I’ve now been prescribed progesterone to help support if following a previous loss & bleeding this time

Thanks I’ve been getting seen by the Epu and been having private scans as my anxiety is awful however everything looks ok just no yolk sac yet and came out as 5w4d today so behind my dates hoping it’s due to long irregular cycles but next scan is on Wednesday with Epu hoping there will be something inside the sac otherwise it’ll be another week. With your brown spotting did it come and go or gradually get worse?
my spotting comes and goes and it’s not watery more like discharge or through the discharge

Figtree11 · 06/04/2024 20:13

@Jenroxy5 hopefully it’s just a case of not being fully sure on your dates. With my MMC the spotting gradually got worse over a few days & ended up with bleeding. Yet this one it came & went, sometimes I’d go to the toilet & there wouldn’t be much, and other times there would be more. It started on Saturday & by end of Wednesday it pretty much stopped

Think it is turning out to be a loss💔
Day 5 now and the bleeding is getting more period like, also had a constant achey feeling in my stomach and tiny clots passing now too….
All pregnancy symptoms completely gone too, I was constantly exhausted and ravenous, but now not tired at all or hungry. And the sore boobs I was moaning about I’m now missing😓
When I spoke to the midwife they said they’d only see me if I was in excruciating pain which I’m not, so just riding this out at home I guess. Just hope everything passes soon😞
Anyone know how long it will be until I pass the sac/foetus? And will it definitely be obvious or can it all just come out as small clots?
Thanks everyone

I’m so sorry @Mommabear96 i can’t believe they wont see you - are you able to go to the EPU directly to get seen?
Im not sure on how long it would take I’m afraid, as I had to have medical management with mine as it wasn’t really progressing, and I wanted some control on how long it would go on for

Jenroxy5 · 06/04/2024 20:45

Aw I’m so sorry to hear that @Mommabear96 with me I was bleeding heavily and I then attended a&e and was kept in gyno ward and offered a d&c they did offer me medication to pass some big clots which I would go to the toilet in a pot and they’d check it then I went for surgery after the medication in a few days time where I had surgical management for the miscarriage as I was nearly 14 weeks :( sending love to you I’d take yourself to a&e or keep phoning. Saying and sending prayers for you x

@Figtree11 see mines sortve started very lightly on Sunday stopped and stared just within the discharge since last Sunday so nearly a week now however I’ve had scans since then and no yolk sac yet but that’s what’s happening with me barely there then it’ll be there and then next times I wipe it’s gone. I just hope that brown means good as it’s old not new as the midwife told me fresh red blood is when they’d be concerned. I’ve still got symptoms sore boobs hungry bloated nausea some points of the day. Hooding and paying that’s a good sign. With my losses I’ve already had period like bleeding straight away.
