Hi everyone -
It took me 1.5 years (and lots of expensive fertility medication) to conceive, because of PCOS. That pregnancy ended in MC, which was discovered at my routine scan and which required a surgical removal just before 13 weeks (baby stopped developing at 9.5 weeks). The cause was Turner's Syndrome. I had just started TTC again, but have now been told I have a small amount of retained tissue which may require more surgery.
Would love any answers to the following!
- Has anyone managed to conceive while they have retained tissue? I was trying before I heard about it... don't know how that will impact things
- Has anyone had success after a loss due to Turner's?
- Is this all spectacularly unlucky or actually normal?
- Have others found other life stresses harder when going through infertility? Wondering if it's normal that I'm feeling slightly on the verge?! I do appreciate that miscarriage is very common, and that mine was a 1st trimester loss
