Fourth Late MMC - overcoiled umbilical cord

Im wondering if anyone has any experience of this issue as I’ve been told it’s extremely rare.
im 37 with 2 children from a previous relationship, my husband has no children.
I’ve had 4 MMC in the last 2 years.
ive lost the babies between 14-16 weeks only detected by routine scans.
each postmortem has came back with the cause of death being an overcoiled umbilical cord. The doctors are in disbelief & we are struggling to see any hope.
I have had baby aspirin, clexane, progesterone & high dose folic acid for my last 2 pregnancies.
my doctors are so good but have no idea why this is happening or how to help. We have considered to go private but don’t know where to go.
does anyone have any experience with this, I would love any input.

I’m so sorry for your losses and that this keeps happening to you.

It sounds like you are having amazing care, but perhaps your doctors might be able to refer you to, or help you find a private consultant who specialises in this area of foetal medicine.

I wish I had some suggestions for you, but wishing you all the best in finding some answers x
