Normal miscarriage pains?

Hello, I sadly had a miscarriage yesterday. Bleeding has calmed down a lot thankfully.
Just wondered how long the cramps / lower back pain last? They’re not super painful but seem to be hurting a bit more this morning than they did yesterday. Is that normal? Will I just be cramping for a few days? I don’t get cramps with periods so the only time I’ve felt cramps properly was in very early labour.
I had an early scan a week ago and baby was in the right place etc so I’m not worried about ectopic. I just don’t know what to expect or what is normal.

I don’t think there is a normal.

I was told it would be like “a heavy period”.
I needed morphine and gas and air as I laboured until my miscarriages passed.

Many women on MN describe cramps, some pain responding to simple pain relief.

Everyone is different.

Mine was really early but very painful for a couple of hours until everything passed then the pain stopped. I also never really got period pains. PP is right everyone is different though.
Sorry for your loss
