Did I say the right thing?

I bumped into an aquaintance recently, who I know had an early miscarriage about 9 months ago. The last time I saw her she had just anounced she was pregnant, and would have had the baby by now. It was obvious I knew about the MC, other wise I would have asked where the baby was. I didn't mention it at all though, and am now wondering if I did the wrong thing.

Personally I wouldn't have wanted it mentioned, if I had MC, but I'm not like other people. Did I do the wrong thing?

no you did the right thing IMO

As you're just an acquaintance, and it was a while ago, you definitely did the right thing. Some women would very much appreciate close friends and family remembering the due date (I have never been in this camp, preferring to have a very private 'little think' on my three mcs' due dates and not really wanting to have them mentioned).

Thankyou

I purposefully 'forgot' all my due dates so I could live with myself more easily, so anyone reminding me would have upset me enormously.

You SO did the right thing!
