Miscarriage or blood clot

⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️

Long story short I had the copper coil in and it was causing excruciating pain. Turns out the coil had moved and I was able to get pregnant . I am wanting to know if you think this looks like just a blood clot or a miscarriage. The pain after was so bad and I was very heavy bleeding. I've had a loss prior 9 years ago and this pain was even worse than that.

Please be kind with your comments.

I want to know your opinion on what it looks like . Thankyou so much

I think if you had clots and heavy bleeding I'm afraid that doesn't sound good for ongoing pregnancy. Had you had a positive test?

How many weeks pregnant are you?
I'm sorry you've got this worry. It looks like you're bleeding heavily and you say you've had severe pain. That, sadly, does sound like a miscarriage.

Hi there hasn’t been a positive test I missed my period by a week or two. Then this has happened this is why I’m wondering if it looks like a blood clot from period or possible miscarriage

Definitely a blood clot. If you were 5w pregnant it would be too small to see.

You could always do a test if you are still concerned?

Please do a test and call EPU.
Possible to bleed and lose clots and remain pregnant.
Hard to tell from your photo, could be a clot.

If you've never had a positive pregnancy test, this is your period by the looks of things.

Know this was a long time ago but my coil slipped down into my cervix, really painful and formed a mucus plug around it so don't know if this could like block periods? (I had it removed and it was covered in mucus).
