Is this a possible miscarriage? TRIGGER WARNING PICTURES

I started my period a little early and it has lasted for 9 days but then yesterday this came out I'm used to seeing blood clots but I have never seen something like this before.. took a pregnancy test (a cheap one) and it says negative. I did have unprotected sex when switching birth control pills. I just want someone to tell me if this looks like a miscarriage or just a blood clot. Thanks!

Looks like it may be a decidual cast. Google it for an explanation.

Yeah i would say a cast also. Doesn’t look like a gestational sac. Also that test would have shown as positive if it was as hormones are present for around 6 weeks after.
