Miscarriage vs blood clot

Hi has anyone experienced this, sorry graphic picture.
I have had no usual warning signs of my period e.g. aches etc. And had no cramping but this morning I started to bleed, presuming period as I was due on a couple of days ago.
Then tonight I've found this clot in my pad, I've not seen a clot quite so thick

Advice or anyone think this could be an early miscarriage

My early mc were smaller, less ‘meaty’ (sorry!) whereas weirdly my heavy periods did give me huge clots and some looked like that.

Hi at exactly 6 weeks I started to get light brown spotting that continued for a week, at exactly 7 weeks I started bleeding heavily and red but didn’t have any cramping. I went to the bathroom and felt a need to push and this came out. It looks like it is the baby but I didn’t think it would be that big at just 6/7 weeks. I think it is a miscarriage though i just wanted to ask anyone else’s opinions?? I have a scan in 2 days but it is driving me crazy not knowing for sure!! Xx
