I went for a private scan yesterday at 10 weeks 3 days, we were told that I had suffered a missed miscarriage at 7 weeks 4 days. Sonographer has stated there is an empty gestational sac in uterus with no yolk or fetal pole present. The early pregnancy unit are sending me a date through for an appt but say they will need to rescan me to ensure that the pregnancy isn't located somewhere else, I'm so confused as have been told by doctor etc that it would have been in the gestational sac, not elsewhere. I'm now panicking about this and wonder if anyone has any experience of what will happen when I go and if they have ever been told this
