TTC after early loss

Hi All,

Me and my partner are both keen to try for our rainbow baby soon. How long did it take you after a loss?

This was my first pregnancy so feeling anxious but hopeful as it wasn’t planned and could only have happened once.

I do have PCOS , so not completely delusional about how quick this may happen.

any advice tips welcome.

@EmiJomobean I'm sorry for your loss. I found out on Saturday that I am pregnant again after a miscarriage at 9 weeks in September - we waited until I'd had a period so this was our 3rd cycle trying again. I was also fortunate that my cycle was regular before the miscarriage and returned to normal quickly afterwards (although it didn't feel quick at the time!). I hadn't tracked ovulation prior to my first pregnancy and decided to start using OPKs after the miscarriage so I could understand more about what was going on in my body - that definitely helped as I ovulated earlier than normal this cycle and would perhaps not have caught it if I hadn't been tracking.

TTC after miscarriage is different for everyone though, so try not to fall down the rabbit hole of googling lots of stories about people conceiving really quickly after a loss as it will just get you down if it doesn't happen for you. Good luck. 💐

So after my early loss I got pregnant on my second cycle. No issues with that pregnancy, she's snoozing next to me now. Good luck!

I had a miscarriage on Christmas day and got pregnant three weeks later. I just wanted to move on and get pregnant again asap, but I appreciate that this is definitely not for everyone. My partner works away a lot and is often not here when I'm ovulating, plus I'm 37 with an autoimmune condition and a lazy thyroid, so we're working with fairly strict time frames!
