I suffered a miscarriage on 16/01/24 so exactly one week ago. Suspected early miscarriage no guarantee of timings as I hadn’t even had my first dating scan and by the time the EPAU got round to scanning me, there was nothing but tissue to see. No sac etc so it was a queried pregnancy of unknown location until I had my HCG levels confirmed which since have been, and it’s an active miscarriage.
i was bleeding fairly heavy tues - Thurs and then I passed a large piece of tissues which was collected as a sample and confirmed as pregnancy tissue.
at the weekend the bleeding was easier, light and in little to no pain however I felt unwell, weak, tired after minimal activity and have been to GP today about this.
today I have barely had any bleeding and can get away with a very thin pad, almost like a panty liner and barely any pain or discomfort abdominally, only the general unwell and weakness was my issue. the GP was having a good feel of my stomach and pressing in certain places which at the time did not hurt, uncomfortable yes but not painful. She ruled out infection and has put me forward for bloods as feeling that I am anaemic. That was at 2pm. Now since around 9pm, I am having horrible stomach pains in the areas she has pressed. These feel almost like bruises or after surgery. I can barely move because when I do, my body will move and set the pain off again. It’s like I’ve been punched in the stomach and very tender particularly under my belly button area. I feel a bit of a pest calling GP again tomorrow but concerned this isn’t normal??
