I need help deciphering whether I’ve just had another chemical pregnancy or whether this is one of the infamous evaporation lines CB tests are famous for please.
The picture is from a test I took yesterday morning with 2MU, which was rather diluted, estimated 9dpo, but could have been as early as 7dpo. Nothing came up so just before the 10 minutes mark I just shoved the test in my dressing gown pocket and resigned to it being a BFN.
An hour or so later when I pulled the test out of the pocket in better lighting about an hour or so later, there was a this very faint, but definitely blue tinged line (you cannot quite see the blue colour in this picture, but it is, not just an indent). I’ve no idea how long after the 10 minutes window it appeared by, but I never tested this early in the past and at 11dpo or later my previous BFPs haven’t been much darker when I compare. I’ve taken many tests in my time and I never had a so call evaporation line, even after they fully dried just completely negative or positive, however faint.
Anyway, I retested this morning with a Boots early detection with pink dye and FMU and that was completely negative, not even so much of a hint of a line even after hours so I’d say I’m 100% not pregnant, but based on yesterday’s test, would you say this is likely to be a chemical or I wasn’t pregnant at all and this is just an evap line/dodgy test?
Maybe it should’t matter and probably there is no way to know for sure, but I feel like I need to know.
Huge thank you to anyone who has any insight into this x
