Hi

I’m 5wk4d with my second

Yesterday when I wiped my discharge was very very very light pink (I mean almost imperceptible unless you were looking for it) and the same again this morning with some very teeny specks of bright red at lunch time (pin prick size) however these seem to have stopped although the very light pink has remained…

Do I need to be concerned? I can’t remember any spotting with my last pregnancy.
I have been quite crampy for the last few days but completely bearable.

Is it worth telling my GP/EPU/111 or am i being really over the top?
Should i wait to see if it progresses to actual bleeding? If I was having a miscarriage would the blood be more period like plus heavier?
is there any point having a private scan at 6 weeks, would they even see anything?

so many questions sorry! early pregnancy is so worrying

I really can't see any pink tbh, but I think it's very normal. Even heavier bleeding doesn't necessarily mean miscarriage. If it turns into proper period like blood then yes I would ring the EPU, but at 5 weeks it's unlikely they'll see anything on the scan. At this stage it really could still go either way unfortunately, it's an incredibly stressful time especially if you've had previous losses. Crossing my fingers for you x
