Sorry ,long one. I tested positive on 19th December,one day before period was due. Tested 4 times with pink dye test that week,all positive. Plus a clear blue digital which read pregnant 1-2 weeks. Had a little spotting but assumed it was implantation. Tested again on 29th December with clear blue and it read pregnant 2-3 weeks which would be correct too. So 31st December I started cramping and bleeding,not mega heavy but enough to worry me,called early pregancy and they said to keep and eye and call if it got heavier. 1st Jan not much bleeding but still cramping, bled a bit later at night. Called early pregancy yesterday as bleeding and cramping again and they booked me in for this morning to have an internal scan to confirm my suspicion of miscarrying. Took in a urine sample which they have said was negative for pregancy, they didn't scan me as the test was negative and have said I've had a chemical pregancy and advised me to go home and do a test myself basically to prove its negative so I could see for myself. Get home and my test is positive so I called them and they said to do a pink dye test rather than clear blue so I went and bought pink dye tests and that is also very positive still and now I'm not any further forward or any less stressed than I was yesterday. If it was chemical surely I wouldn't still test positive when they said it was negative ? I understand that after miscarrying, I would still have positive tests for a couple weeks but they basically said at hospital that the egg never implanted which would mean I wasn't really pregnant to start with so i shouldn't still test positive ?
