Am I miscarrying? TW:blood

I am 10 weeks pregnant with my 3rd and had bright red blood in my underwear (not pictured) and after sex when I was cleaning up there was a lot of dark red/brownish blood with a few stringy tissues. I noticed my underwear only after sex. I have had 2 healthy pregnancies and I’m terrified. I called yesterday due to having orange/brown discharge but my ob “couldn’t see me due to discharge” until my first appointment in January, and instead referred me to a clinic that doesn’t accept my insurance. I am going to call tomorrow, but I am up bawling my eyes out and cannot sleep with this pit in my stomach.

How are you feeling? Any change in pregnancy symptoms?

i don't know if you are. I wiped bright red blood when I lost my baby.

That doesn't mean you will though.

My nausea has just started to go away this week, and I was so happy about it. Yesterday and tonight I have been having mild cramps in abdomen and back but i experienced something similar with my past pregnancies and thought it was ligament pain. They’re milder than period cramps.

Did the bleeding just start after sex or before? Can you book an early scan so that you know either way? It’s not clear if you’re in the UK or not. Sorry you’re going through this.

It started before sex, it was quite heavy and bright red in my underwear. I pray they let someone see me early.

You should be able to see someone at the nearest EPU today

Santapaws3 · 29/12/2023 08:45

If you’re in the UK you can call your EPU and they should see you especially as if it was heavy red blood and you have cramps. You just call them usually don’t need a midwife.

Thinking of you.

Yes, go see someone right away.

I hope you get good news. 💐
