Cervical discharge after MMC

Hi all. Recently been through a MMC where baby stopped developing at 6 weeks but found at 10 weeks. I opted for medical management and the bleeding started on Friday 17th November, I passed the sac on Sunday 19th November and since then the bleeding has become lighter and lighter each day gradually turning light brown. Within the last week I’ve been having what looks like a light brown sludge consistency of discharge. Today I have yellow EWCM, I presume I am ovulating but unsure as to why it is yellow? Has anyone had the same after a miscarriage?

@LW678 so sorry for your loss. It's a horrible experience to go through. How are things going now? Did spotting stop/ do you think you ovulated?

My story very similar to yours, I had medical management at 10+3 when baby was measuring 6 weeks and no HB. We'd had a scan at 7+2 and there was strong HB. Bloody rubbish. I had successful medical management 16 days ago (worked same day) and had brown spotting for nearly 2 weeks now which is definitely now as you describe and a bit sludge like. I did an opk today and it was negative. No idea where I am in cycle terms. Very keen for spotting to stop though! We want to try again ASAP but guessing we'll be waiting until next cycle as epu you no sex until spotting stopped due to infection risk...

Hello, sorry to hear you’re also going through the heartache of a miscarriage. Mine didn’t turn out to be an infection like I thought it might have been and after a couple of days of yellow gunk it cleared up and went back to white discharge. I’m sure I ovulated around the same time/ just after this although I didn’t use any tracking x
