After being booked in for an MVA later this week it’s been cancelled because of some of my risk factors. So I’ve opted to try the tablets before going down the surgery route.

what time of day did you take the first dose? I can’t decide whether to take it before going to bed. The doctor scared me with its side effects.
Im feeling anxious xx

Hey lovely, sorry to hear you’re going through this. There’s nothing quite like it which compares. I took the medication route 2 weeks ago (nearly 3 weeks this coming Friday). Have you been given the pessaries?

Yes I’ve got the first pessaries. I’m just trying to prepare myself to take them 😢

I got told to take mine Friday morning as soon as I woke up. I was awake by 2am so I thought I may aswell get the ball rolling as the doctor told me it could take a few hours to get started. It didn’t. It happened instantly. I was in a lot of pain and took codeine to relieve it, the worst of the pain was over by 10am. So that’s 8 hours for me. From then on it just felt like a bad period on Friday and Saturday. Sunday morning I then passed the sac and then felt very light period pains for about a week. I really hope everything goes ok for you, I’ve seen lots of your posts and you seemed so anxious (just like me) and that a baby is everything you ever wanted and more (again, just like me) x
