When will I likely ovulation after natural miscarriage?

Hello, I had a miscarriage at around 7.5 weeks though had brown bleeding from 6 weeks. I am just wondering when does my cycle day start? Would it be Friday 17th November when I first got red blood and bad cramps? Or Sunday 19th November when I passed the sac? I thought I would have got a peak LH surge now (usually get them between day 12 -15) but it's very low today and seems to be fluctuating.

I’m very sorry for your loss, I also had a MMC naturally at around 8 weeks this month. From what I was told the first day of bleeding is classed as the first day of your period and then you go along from there.

For me, I started bleeding on the 8th Nov and stopped on 18th. My normal periods are not normally this long but still went with it. I would advise that before you start TTC again, make sure you get a negative pregnancy test first as last thing you would want is a false positive from the last pregnancy.

As, for ovulation may sure you do the OPK’s as what I’ve seen is that the MC screwed my cycle a bit, I don’t feel as though I have hit my ovulation mark but I’ll find out if I get AF or not. All I can suggest is keep tracking it and hopefully you catch it!

I had surgery for my MMC (at 6 weeks) almost 5 weeks ago and I still haven’t ovulated or got my period ☹️.

I’ve been doing OPK’s since CD 10 too! It’s very frustrating.

I would just say to keep testing.
My sister had a natural miscarriage a couple of months before me, and she didn’t ovulate until 5 weeks later either. I think miscarriage can totally mess up your cycle ☹️. It’s so frustrating, when you read that some people ovulate after 2 weeks! I would just say the same, just keep testing. 🤞🏼

@Holly0609 Hi I’m sorry for your loss. Have you got any symptoms that your period is due? I’m in the same boat and I think I’m due in a couple of days but have heard that having a MC can really screw everything up. I’ve read the same that people are really fertile, I’ve had a couple of high readings but it’s not say equal to peak level. And it really fluctuates up and down so it’s hard to keep track of what’s happening.

I’ve been doing OPK’s pretty much the whole time since the MC was completed and was declared fit to try again and the readings are all over the place so can’t say it’s helped.

I don’t have symptoms that my period is due to be honest. Well, I have felt more hungry than usual today so maybe that’s a sign 😅.
Have you? What cycle day are you on?

I just desperately want to ovulate so I can at least say we’ve tried this month 😭

I even had a peak last Monday on my clearblue OPK, But my cheap OPK’s were so faint, I don’t think I ovulated. I think my body has maybe tried to but hasn’t happened yet! I can’t believe how much it messes it all up.

how long did you take until you had a negative pregnancy test?
I had a negative test a week after surgery so I guess it’s been 3 1/2 weeks

I hope you get your peak soon too
I’ve been unhealthily and obsessively testing 2-3 times a day for the last 22 days 🙈

@Holly0609 hi!!! Being hungry is definitely a good sign! Haha… I’ve had some signs but not sure, it’s hard because you overthink everything and think everything is a sign. I’ve lost my appetite, I’ve had some spotting, cramps, back pain, nausea but it could be my period coming soon too? 🙈

Yeah I feel the same, I have no idea if my body ovulated. I’m the other way round, I prefer the OPK sticks than the Clear Blue, I can never find my peak with the Clear Blue, but in fairness I think I bought a dodgy pack because in the 2 packs I never got one smiley face, so think something dodgy happened there.

I got my negative around a week after I stopped bleeding. I’m on CD 24 and apparently 10 DPO. What cycle day are you?

I am the exact same when it comes to testing!! I keep testing which is not very healthy but I can’t help but want to check haha. My period is due in 4 days, my pregnancy tests are still negative but will probably keep testing until my period comes.
