Is this a miscarriage?

Hi all, bit of backstory, I was about 4 days late for my period and took a pregnancy test but it didn't show even a hint of a positive. I'm not surprised, I'm still on BC but thought I'd check as I'm usually pretty regular. Well the next day my period shows up and it's normal. Except tonight when I went to the loo after I had a sharp pain in my lower abdomen and wiped away what I assumed was a blood clot (again, pretty normal for me) but the colour made me pause. Could this me an early miscarriage or am I overthinking?

It's more like old blood mixed with left over lining. The kinda tacky goo-i-ness in periods is mostly lining and sometimes it doesn't dissolve fully - and your uterus does an extra big cramp spasm to push it out.

Nope, just looks like a small old clot and mucous.

Ive had multiple miscarriages and not one was anything like that.
