How long off for recovery?

I appreciate this varies but I worry I'm not recovering as quickly as I hoped.
How long did your recovery from ectopic laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery take? How long did you have to take off work and how long did you need to fully recover physically?

I would say 2 weeks for physical recovery (it’s a bit painful first few days then with the stitches etc to heal) but I took a month off in total

Thanks for replying. Daft question but did your belly button totally change shape? I used to have quite a neat one but took off the plasters to reveal a twisted, bulging monstrosity that looks horrendous. Is that normal and will it go back to how it was? Also when did you feel able to drive? Over a week now and I'm still a bit nervous as the stitches keep pulling. Is that normal?
