Has anyone had a blighted ovum (sac but no embryo) and been taking antidepressants or/sand antipsychotics?
Im on 225g of venlafaxine and 300g quetiapine.
Paid for a scan yesterday only to find out I was having a blighted ovum 😢 and the foetus never formed. I have to go into hospital today for another scan to confirm as they don’t accept outside companies scan results.
Im just left wondering if my medication could be the cause.
Going to ask my doctor to ween me off my meds and try again in a couple of months once they have completely left my system and I’ve given my body time to recover from the miscarriage.
