Period after miscarriage (D&C)

Hi all,

Looking to hear some of your experiences for peace of mind. I’m 5 weeks post D & C and I’ve been eagerly waiting for AF. I had brown spotting 2 days ago, followed by pale pink spotting when I wiped the day after that but nothing since. I thought this was my period restarting but it’s completely stopped. Did you just start your period or did it start with spotting, stopped and then full flow?

My period started with spotting then went to full flow. (Previously had always started with full flow).

I found my 1st period after miscarriage to be very slightly off my normal in timing and type, and found it reassuring to get it out of the way before TTC again. After the 2nd MC I waited a few cycled before trying again.

Thanks for your reply, it’s reassuring to know,! Do you remember how many days you had the spotting for before your full flow started? I’m hoping to start trying again after I’ve had 1 cycle but will see how I’m feeling.
