Had an early miscarriage - that then become or was a period then..

Now just had potential period again - started off with me thinking implantation bleeding - brown blood etc but then as days went on - red blood etc..

Today would be cycle day 4..

But its nothing like period was prior to miscarriage..

Has anyone had this kinda experience -

so sorry for your loss ❤️

I’m in a similar situation to you. Although mine was a late miscarriage at 17+2 weeks. I had bleeding yesterday (4 weeks after miscarriage) but only one wipe and nothing more that day or today.

i have been thinking the same to whether it was implantation bleeding as I took an ovulation test 15 days after I miscarried which was positive.

Its all so confusing I just want my body back to normal 😭

Sorry to hear about your losses :(
after my MMC 11 weeks my period came back to normal quickly.
I’ve then had 2 very early miscarriages in consecutive months and my last 2 cycles have not been ‘my normal’ spotting like 4/5 days before following 5 days normal flow.
it’s driving me insane and also making me worry something is wrong!
but I keep getting told it will be my hormones and body just getting itself back together again!
sending lots of hope xxx

So sorry for your loss!! Were you testing to see when you had a negative pregnancy test after your loss? It took 4 weeks for a negative test after my 1st miscarriage and 2 weeks after my second for me to get a negative test ( ovulation tests will also pick up the hcg) so it can be very confusing. Good luck!!

Em Have you spoken to your doctor about being referred for testing. You can also request progesterone from your doctor. I’m asking mine to be referred to Tommys. I’ve heard great things about them.

Em1996 · 13/10/2023 10:33

Yes I have been referred to testing big waiting list though :( hopping for apt in December they said.

Im going back to GP to ask them to test hormone levels.
the thing is there isn’t enough evidence to say taking progestogen helps.. what my gp says anyway!

I would love to be referred to tommys but I don’t have any of there clinics near me!

Pregnancy loss review this July = rule change

They HAVE to give you progesterone after ONE miscarriage now.

Hertility health are very worthwhile & very thorough for hormone and fertility testing - highly recommend - best 150 gbp i spent

I'm sorry for your loss Op, I had a chemical mid August and still haven't had a period. I'm a little bit worried about it, normally I'm really regular. Does anyone here know if this is normal?

I got some ovulation tests about a week ago and I think I've ovulated because I had LH levels of 0.95 but I just don't know and I'm starting to worry something is wrong, I expected to have periods again right away

Em1996 · 13/10/2023 17:42

Thank you for this!
I have just got back from GP as I think I’m having my 4th MC :(.
the GP was so useless and just kept saying to wait from my appointment at the recurrent miscarriage clinic.
mom going to try give Tommys and ring to see if they can help me what to do next.
