HCG slowly rising after miscarriage

Please help?! I can’t find a single post to relate to…
2 weeks ago I found out I was miscarrying again for the 3rd consecutive time - very early on (4.5wks roughly)
24/09 HCG - 111
26/09 HCG 45.1
I was then told I will miscarry and so I bled the following day in what seemed like a normal full period.
I was advised to take a test 2 weeks later to ensure this was negative, however its positive?!
Another blood test taken 09/10 and HCG is now at 150…
Please can anyone relate to this and advise what is going on? Why has my hcg risen after 2 weeks? This is not a new pregnancy either as I’ve not had sx since I’ve miscarried! EPAU have no idea what’s going on and have contacted my gynaecologist and I have to wait for contact, but I feel sick with nerves!

@NatNic1 I'm so sorry you are going through this horrible limbo situation. I don't have a similar experience I'm afraid but hope you get some answers soon! Take care x

Ahh thank you for the reply! The EPAU phoned me back telling me that my gynaecologist wants me to have a repeat blood test tomorrow and depending on the outcome they are looking at doing a laparoscopy or a hysteroscopy! I’m so nervous about it as I just want this to be over so I can start trying again. We were due to be contacted by the gynaecologist anyway for further testing on why I keep miscarrying… such a stressful situation :(!

I'm currently going through this and can't find any information on it as well.
Hcg Dec 11 - 105
Hcg Dec 13 - 230
Spotting Dec 18
Hcg Dec 21 - 105
Dec 24 I was told I would miscarry.
Tracked my hcg every week since and it went down.

Hcg Jan 3 - 16
Hcg Jan 12 - 28

Went to ER and they found nothing anywhere. Ruled out everything.

HCG Jan 13 - 48 HOW???

I have had 2 previous miscarriages and my last one turned into an ectopic but I used methotrexate.

Sooo sorry to hear what's happening to you. I hope everything turned out okay in the end. Did they ever find anything?

Hello, so sorry to hear you’ve gone through something similar! It’s so confusing and never reassuring when they can’t find any answers for you and you can’t relate to anything whatsoever!
Mine turned out to be a horribly long 3 month journey… in short, my levels continued to rise over the weeks until over 1,000… I had multiple scans where they found nothing. Once HCG was over 1,000 they said it was ectopic due to tube swelling and gave me methotrexate. Levels began to fall just fine but I had been bleeding for weeks already. When my bleeding carried on for up to 6 weeks I raised concerns. They rescanned me and said there was something in my uterus they didn’t know what it was. Took me to theatre for a camera up there plus to remove whatever it was (like a D&C). Did a biopsy on that and turned out to be ‘products of conception’ as they like to call it. I was furious, why didn’t they see this before? Was I pregnant all along up until I had methotrexate? Turned out not to have been ectopic. My tube looks swollen due to endometriosis. That is exactly what happened on my 2nd pregnancy loss - swollen tube so they removed it thinking it was ectopic but it was actually just the endometriosis attached to it. Just been so awful 😞
I have some tests booked in for April but I can try again after this month if I want to, not sure how I feel about it yet.

How did you get on with your situation? X
