Gestational Sac measurements?

Morning,

On Tuesday I went for an early scan at 5+5 and saw a heartbeat. Last night I started with brown spotting and this morning I had red blood so we booked in for another scan as I suspected miscarriage.

To my surprise baby still has a heartbeat and has grown 2mm since Tuesday.
However she did comment on my GS sac being ‘small’ and measured it to be 0.8mm smaller than on Tuesday. She said it wasn’t anything to particularly worry about as baby still had a heartbeat but said it was something to monitor.

Done some Googling and apparently the GS being small is the first sign of an impending miscarriage and it can happen before baby loses its heartbeat.

I’m just wondering if it could be down to different sonographers/machines that my sac is measuring slightly smaller and if anyone else has experienced something similar.

Thank you.
