A few days before my period was due I had a couple of days of brown CM when wiping and then nothing. I'd been feeling a bit of nausea without vomiting, increased sense of smell, uncomfortable boobs and just general feeling a bit different.
When I was pregnant with my son I had a similar 2 days of spotting when I was due on that never developed into a period and then didn't find out I was pregnant for almost a month and a half after that when morning sickness started. During that month I had similar nausea and no vomiting.
Anyway, not counting the 2 days of spotting my period was around 21 days late when it finally arrived on Sunday and it has been super heavy and super clotty. I did do a test when I was a week late but it was negative so thought nothing more of it but speaking to my mum about it she suggested a potential miscarriage.
Do we think this might be the case and if so do I need to contact the GP or anything? My periods aren't usually this heavy or clotty.
