Miscarriage Period still not here

Hey all so after my miscarriage which I had a d and c for on 4th September I am due on yesterday but no AF
the test are still showing feint positive
when I went back to the EPU last week the registrar said she said I should should wait to TTC until after another check up as my lining looked thickened
would you be worried by this and the period not yet returning?
I am actively TTC what could happen if you conceive with a thick lining?
im 39 and don’t want to ideally wait which I told her
Also how long to the test take to show negative after miscarriage

Also can I conceive with no period return and the feint positive my head is a mess

My period took 6 weeks to return after each of my D&Cs. My test was positive for 4 weeks as the HCG was slow to leave my system but I also had one that was positive for 4 weeks as a result of retained tissue so it might be worth getting bloods done to check your levels are coming down in line with what they’d expect.

@gtx1797h hey sorry to read this. I had a mmc 11/8, completed 19/8 and negative pt 2 weeks later. I have just had a period 7 weeks after the start of my mmc bleeding. I did know when I was ovulating and used tests too, and dtd every day over this period thinking I would get pregnant easily, which I didn’t as period showed up. I’m 42 and it was a surprise pregnancy, we weren’t trying but now I feel like it’s showed me we want to. We have an 8 yr old too which was a very smooth pregnancy so was a shock and thought stupidly everything would be the same. Times a good healer, and i do feel better now so give it time and I do think that the first period is probably the best thing as a lot of clots and things came out that I wasn’t expecting , so even if we had conceived again it probably wouldn’t have been strong enough to hold. Good luck and I know the wait is hard but please don’t worry if it doesn’t show for another few weeks . X
