Has anybody started to have lupus anticoagulant during their pregnancy and how was this tested? Thanks

I am awaiting to find out a definitive answer for me, I have been told I might have this, which will affect future pregnancies. 8 misscarriage and ectopics so far and I've had misscarriage blood screening and found out I might have it. 2nd blood test to confirm in December for sure, been briefed on medication but have questions do you have it before you get pregnant? Is it easy to get hold of? What if your pregnant and can't get it in time and have misscarriages again? So many questions I have on the subject. What and how was you diagnosed?

@Aly170922darc hi sorry to hear about all your miscarriages earns ectopics. Who team the blood tests for you? A clinic or a go? I was told to start the injection of heparin and ans baby aspirin when I found out that I am pregnant. I have not been repugnant since so not sure how quick you can access the injections but I know my clinic sent a letter to my go telling them to give them to me if I am pregnant. They will also put me on progesterone. Are you having an fertility treatment or are you still trying naturally?

@CarpeDiem75 I am trying naturally and having fertility testing at the same time. It was a hospital clinic that did my bloods. I always have them in a clinic with their own phlembotomists. Oh so you currently don't take the heparin before pregnancy like every day now? Like with the folic acid prior to getting pregnancy you don't have to take them before? I am wondering if I would get the same.

@Aly170922darc as far as I am concerned that's the plan for me but I guess it could be different for you as it can be started earlier.
Last cycle I had only my first blood test back and needed to wait beginning of November to do my second test so she told me not to conceive in October so it doesn't affect the blood test regulates but she did say that if I did get pregnant I needed to call them right away and they would start the injections on me.
