Second Chemical Pregnancy Loss

I was wondering if anyone had any advice. After having a BETA HCG blood test at the EPU today, the nurse confirmed I've had a chemical pregnancy as my HCG result is 7. I didn't ask about my progesterone on the phone, I forgot in the moment as I was so upset upon receiving the news. I suspected that this pregnancy might not be viable as the lines on my tests have failed to progress over the last few days since getting the initial faint positive. I haven't had any spotting or bleeding, just some very low level mild cramps (which I didn't think much of because I heard that was quite common in early pregnancy). The lady who gave me the results on the phone just said "just do a pregnancy test in a weeks time, it will be negative". I asked if I'm likely to bleed and she said that the HCG was so low that I might not, and should probably just wait until I have my next period. I feel utterly devastated and confused. The only other time I've been pregnant was this time last year, and that too was a chemical - except that time I bled as soon as I got the positive test. Has anyone gone on to have a successful pregnancy after having chemicals? I feel like there's something wrong with me :(
