Hello 💕

Looking for some support on where to go next.

We came off contraception in June, had a suspected ectopic in July and a CP in August. We had no medical intervention for the EP, we did expectant management.

After the first I quickly picked myself up ready to try again but the second hit much harder. Everything you read tells you that the chances of a second loss are extremely slim so I went into it with that hope only to be crushed when I started bleeding the second time.

I’ve contacted my GP who have referred me to the gynaecologist at our local hospital for testing which is great but I have just checked my referral and it says I could be waiting until November to hear anything. I can’t wait that long, I feel like I’m going insane. I do nothing but google my symptoms and what could possibly be wrong with me all day every day. We’re skipping a month and then trying again in October but I need to know I’ve done something different between now and then to hope for a better outcome.

We’ve agreed that we are going to look at private testing but I have no idea where to start. I’ve found a few clinics near us but what specifically should I be looking for? What tests should I be getting? I don’t want to go all in on the full works of testing just yet but I need to start somewhere.

I just need a glimmer of hope for the next one ✨

Sorry your going through this.. I am also going through the same and waiting for appointment with gynaecologist.
you could go and get a women’s health scan, there a bit more affordable and they will check your uterus ect and can get one done 5 days after to period to check the lining of your uterus is growing thick enough- can rule some things out and reassure you until more test can be done.
stay hopeful 💕💕

@Em1996 Thank you! I’ll have a look into that 💕 Sorry to hear about your losses too, have you had any tests done so far?

I’ve only had blood test recently which came back all clear and a scan when I had missed miscarriage and they said nothing unusual.
then I’ve had a couple consecutive CPs.. so not been able to book for another scan to look if my lining it growing thick enough but will be booking that in after my period this month as we’ve taken a break xxx
