Faint positive 3 weeks later

I have had to test 3 weeks after the MC which the EPU advised me on doing.
This has resulted in a very faint 2nd line 😔 I believe this is because my hormones are still all over the place.
We want to try for another ASAP, how long did everyone wait?
And should I wait until the test is completely negative?

I'm so sorry. I've had the exact same and have had the same question as you when I saw the faint line on Friday. I'm not comfortable trying at least until my scan on Tuesday to confirm whether there are any retained products.

Have you contacted EPU to arrange a scan?

@WorriedMama92 you should phone epu if you’re still getting positive tests, they will probably want to scan you to check for retained tissue. I wasn’t advised to stop “trying” after my MMC- I think the main reason people wait for the first period is to be able to accurately date the pregnancy. However I don’t think you can get pregnant if you’re still getting faint positives from the MMC.
