Scared i'm miscarrying

Managed to conceive naturally after 2 years of ttc, IVF and a chemical pregnancy last month, had an early reassurance scan last week measuring 6w2d and everything looked great including heartbeat. Today (6w5d) i've had a gush of red blood which covered some toilet roll, and some cramps, since i've put a panty liner on and there has been no blood on the liner but a small amount of browny blood when i wipe.

Can anyone offer any advice or experience? Really worried!

I’m afraid nobody can tell you what the outcome will be. Many people belled during early pregnancy and it’s okay, many others don’t have a good outcome.

If I were you I’d contact my EPU for advice. Good luck 🤗

Hi Username,

As Pollywoodles said, unfortunately there is no way of knowing for sure what's happening unless you get checked out, however, there can be normal "bleeds" in pregnancy.

Did you have an internal scan? I know that's caused me to bleed in the past.

Sending you big hugs, please keep us updated x

I would contact your midwife or early pregnancy unit in your local hospital. They would usually offer you scan to check everything’s ok.
Hope everything goes ok

Thanks all, I’ve contacted my EPU who said to monitor the situation , thankfully there’s been no more blood and I’m waiting to hear back from my midwife about next steps and praying! 🙏

AlienSuperstar - it was an internal scan but the bleeding was 3 days after? So not sure if it could be related?

if it was 3 days later then maybe not.

Sending you lots of positive vibes, please let us know how you get on x
